The Australian Smart Lighting Summit was once again a resounding success. The summit was attended by over 150 delegates – passionate lighting industry professionals who enthusiastically discussed the latest trends and passionately networked with the ‘who’s who’ of Australia’s lighting scene.
Packed with thought-provoking case studies and presentations, the summit offered delegates, speakers and sponsors useful and lasting industry contacts through multiple engaging networking opportunities.
But don't just take our word for it, here is what some of the participants had to say:
"Exceptional presentations, creating greater awareness and understanding of LED street lighting technologies. This event was well attended with many solid discussions further improving the adoption of LEDs."
"We are highly impressed by how well organised this event has been – it is evident that the team is very customer service focused and we see this by how smoothly the event has run and by the excellent service throughout the course of this summit. In addition, we could obtain high quality leads. Winning both awards topped of the overly highly positive experience."

"I found this lighting conference very informative with regards to the latest trends in LED technology, which is an evolving technology and we are yet to realize its potential. This summit hosted quality speakers, the range of topics was interesting and the range of information was relevant – many of those to local government. Topics of most interest were those that touched street lighting replacement projects, lighting in recreational facilities (e.g. using LEDs on sporting fields), “smart cities” infrastructure, and sensors network (an area where technology is fast moving) and also the topic on solar lights. The panel discussions were great, enjoyed the night walk and the networking was engaging and interesting. My favorite presentation was by Stargazer – Fred Watson. A lot was covered in 2 days. The event was well worthwhile."
“Overall I thought it was decent setup. Quite happy with the traffic. Will consider attending again next year.”
"Expotrade have provided a great platform for suppliers to showcase their latest technology and products. It has been a well-run event, allowing consumers to get maximum exposure and education. I would recommend this event to any company wanting to accelerate their business."

"I believe this is a very successful event for both sponsors and visitors. We have already achieved our target for coming to this summit by learning the latest information from lighting industry; gained many levels within 2 days."
“It is pleasing to see the event has grown from last year. All in all whilst we have found this event positive towards new business potential. I hope we can leave it with good prospective opportunities that will convert.”
