Following on from the success of the 2016 Summit, the Australian Smart Lighting Summit 2017 profiles new developments in street, urban, outdoor and public street lighting projects. In its fifth year, this cutting-edge lighting Summit attracts over 150 delegates annually, with over 30 expert speakers from across Australia as well as international keynote presenters coming together to discuss innovative technologies and pathways for good lighting design and implementation.

This year’s programme has been tailored to feature a wide range of topics covering Smart Lighting and the Internet of Things, Street Light Replacement programs, innovative and quality public lighting design, safety perceptions as well as light pollution.

As participants in this unique knowledge-sharing event, delegates have the chance to network with industry peers and explore aesthetically, architecturally and visually captivating lighting technologies.

With Melbourne city named the 2017 Intelligent Community of the Year by the Intelligent Community Forum, the city plays host to Australia’s premiere symposium on smart lighting, smart cities and the Internet of Things. The Summit underscores the industry’s commitment to developing innovative and intelligent lighting solutions.
